_{[Setting her mittens and hat down she takes off her coat, revealing a simple white dress. The coat too gets folded and set down as she comes to stand atop the table. She's small, about a foot and a half tall, and sure, the cake will be quite big comparatively, but that just means more cake, right? No problem at all. She's even come prepared! Out of her equally small side bag she pulls a cutlery set that's been sized just for her, courtesy of Jacob.]}

Oh that's all right. I don't mind.

_{[Cake is cake.]}

[ Persephone sets the cake on the table and cuts a slice for Airy. Her little cutlery set is adorable, but Persephone tries not to make a big deal of it. She's sure she gets enough of that kind of thing from people. ]

Do you like tea? I have a few different types to choose from.

_{[There are two reactions Airy gets from people - either they find her adorable and harmless thanks to her size or they are wary of her because of what she is. Thankfully it's been the former lately.]}

Oh I do, yes. I'm not picky...but could I have honey and milk in it?

_{[While she may not be exactly like the elemental fae who lived in the depths of Luxendarc's forests she was still a fairy. They did enjoy their dairy and honey, perhaps a bit too much.]}

Milk and honey with it... [ She trails off with a hum as she goes to sort through the cabinet. She's not kidding when she says she has quite the variety. After a few moments, she decides to just go with a classic black tea. Something that won't fight with the flavors of the cake. ]

I suppose you're in luck that I keep bees. I always have honey ready. At least, now she does. [ Prior to moving out of the apartments, she didn't have anywhere to keep her bees. ]

You keep bees?

_{[That gets an involuntary flutter out of Airy's wings as she looks up at Persephone, genuinely curious. She wasn't expecting that.]}

Is it difficult?

[ragingnature]

Yup. Among other things.

[ She flashes a smile as she goes about preparing the tea. ]

Not really, then again I am the Goddess of Spring and can create bees. They're almost like an extension of myself.

The Goddess of Spring?

_{[That gets Airy to straighten, having seated herself back on her heels. Gods are nothing new to her, being the spawn of the God of Destruction herself. How curious.]}

I-I see...I didn't realize I was in the presence of a Goddess.

_{[Airy may be a menace and a destroyer of worlds, but she knows how to respect her (assumed) superiors.]}

Yup.

[ Persephone is paying more attention to preparing tea than Airy's body language, otherwise, she might have laughed. ]

It's not really a big deal, especially here. This place has no use for me beyond the purpose of us all being here.

[faectitious]

_{[Well at least she seems humble...Airy appreciates that much at least.]}

I suppose we're all subject to the same fate, huh?

[ragingnature]

[ It probably helps that her mother raised her in a way that could only be described as a god trying to raise a mortal. That is to say, she was never really given the chance to be a true goddess. Always told to hide the true extent of her abilities and do things her mother's way. ]

Indeed, we are. [ She sighs.

A few moments later she returns to the table with a tray laden with all they need for tea. ]

Do you happen to have a small cup for yourself?

[faectitious]

Ah, I don't, at least not with me...but I've been using those small glasses people pour alcohol into.

_{[She means a shot glass, even if that won't exactly be the best thing to drink hot tea out of.]}

[ragingnature]

Oh! I have some shot glasses. [ She sets everything down and goes to locate one. ]

I'll have to find some cups and whatnot in your size to keep around for visits.

[ She smiles as she returns and fills the glass with tea for Airy. Not too full since she still has milk and honey to add to it. Once it's prepared she sets it next to Airy's plate. ]

Please be careful since it's hot.

[faectitious]

I will, thank you!

_{[She leans over to blow at the glass, not moving to grab it just yet. She'll let it cool a bit for now. The main reason she came here was for the cake so that's got her attention more than anything.]}

Say, how long have you been here for exactly?

[ragingnature]

[ Now that her guest is taken care of, Persephone settles down with a slice and some tea for herself. ]

A little over a year, yourself?

[faectitious]

More than half a year now...closer to a full one.

_{[There's a small sigh out of her as she reaches with her little fork to chip off a bit of the cake.]}

I suppose I can't complain, seeing as I've nowhere else to go rather than this dimension, but I'm surprised I've been here for as long as I have.

[ragingnature]

Ah, quite some time then.

[ She's quiet for a moment, turning over the bit about Airy having nowhere else to go other than here. There are a few things those words can mean, though in her experience it means she's either dead or her world is simply gone. ]

I see. I'm also surprised I've been away from home as long as I have. Before this place, I spent half a year in another world.

[faectitious]

You did?

[Dimension hopping and time travel shenanigans aren't new to Airy in any capacity. Still, she can't help but be curious about what world (or worlds) others may have come from.]

What was it like compared to what you were used to?

[ragingnature]

[ She bobs her head in a nod after a bite of cake. ]

Very different. The world was more futuristic than here though no less obsessed with sex. It was more colorful, this place is so deary in comparison. [ She sighs. ]

The weirdest thing about it was that we were tied to one of the three moons and would change every month when the moon was full. Physical and mental transformations that some might liken to, what were they again, werewolves? Though a wolf was only one transformation.

More futuristic?

[That's, uh, unexpected for a few reasons. As far as Airy's concerned this is incredibly futuristic. What could possibly qualify as more?]

That does sound strange. Did it also affect you as well?

[She expects it would've and she can't help but be curious as to what Persephone would've transformed into.]

[ragingnature]

[ She nods. ] It's hard to believe if you come from a place with technology that barely compares to here.

[ Another bite of cake as she nods again. ]

I often ended up with very fluffy hair and sheepy ears and tail. Small horns too. It was pretty cute.

[faectitious]

The world I come from is far less developed than here, it's true.

[So imagining anything more than what Duplicity has is beyond her.]

That does sound cute...if not interesting.

[Or, y'know, weird.]

[ragingnature]

That's understandable. I grew up without most of the sorts of technology this world has.

[ She nods, chuckling softly. ] I suppose it was pretty cute. Some people turned fully into other creatures though. Or more creature than person.

[faectitious]

Fully creature, huh?

[Not that she's one to talk, considering she has other, more monstrous forms herself.]

Would you say you like being here more than there or...?

[ragingnature]

I preferred it there. [ If she's being honest. ] While the changes also brought about a desire to be close to others, sex wasn't demanded of us. We weren't given the limits we're given here based on an arbitrary system of who is a Dominant and who is a Submissive. And, obviously, the need of contracts didn't exist.

Not to mention, we weren't essentially trapped in a single city. There was much more to see and do.

I see. I'd prefer if it wasn't something that was demanded as well...

[For quite a number of reasons.]

There's still a lot for me to see in this place but I'm sure I'll grow bored of it eventually.
